Baroque style was built in 1564, the initial project was a central nave and several side chapels. Subsequently, the walls of the chapels were demolished and gave birth to three aisles. The interior was decorated with stucco in 700 by James and Procopio Serpotta and frescoes by Antonio Grano. The Cloister House professes with Gothic arches, is home to the room of the Scirocco that an underground built between 500 and 700 present in some palaces and country villas, with the aim of creating a cool contrast in surface temperature.
