Vigliena square named after the Spanish viceroy who commissioned architect Lasso between 1608 and 1620 the construction of the square, then finished by the architect Mariano Smiriglio. The 4 songs, pointed to the division of the city into four districts or neighborhoods, Courts, Castellammare, Royal Palace, Monte di Pietà. Each song consists of 4 floors and contains in one of the first fountain that recalls the four rivers of the city to the next, a statue reminiscent of the seasons in the Doric style, the third statue of a Spanish king and in the Ionic style, the fourth and last, the statue of one of the four holy previous Rosalia of Palermo, ie Oliva, Agata, Ninfa and Cristina.
