After a lunch break (not included), continue to Ortigia, the baroque heart of Syracuse and hometown of Archimedes. Highlights include the Temple of Apollo, the elegant Piazza Duomo, and the legendary Fountain of Arethusa, surrounded by ancient papyrus plants. Enjoy some free time for shopping and exploration. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
